For this edition, the Cyme Mini, a compact sculptured tote bag, has been embellished with raffia, a naturally flexible plant fiber. Its wavy patterns are handcrafted by artisans in Madagascar using an innovative combination of crochet stitches. Needle embroidery connects the lines of openwork raffia to the leather. This edition embodies the intersection of raffia artisanship and leather goods expertise.

Certified organic natural raffia from Madagascar. Certified smooth full-grain Italian calf leather. Raffia is a particularly fragile material which naturally changes over time and, therefore, requires care and attention during its use and maintenance. To preserve the original appearance of the piece, take care when wearing it. Avoid rubbing anything against the raffia and avoid prolonged exposure to direct light or heat. Keep the bag away from water, greasy substances, perfumes, and cosmetics products, as well as from dark or new clothing, as the dye may bleed. If the bag gets wet, dab off the excess water with a soft cloth and then leave to dry. Do not overfill the bag. Store it in its dust bag and box.

Each bag is packaged in the workshop. They are placed inside a protective cotton bag in a paper box made of recycled leather offcuts, which reflects Polène’s commitment to upcycling.
